This week, we tried our hand at crocheting a little amigurumi dog toy for our miniature dachshund Mac. We used the crochet pattern from Yan Schenkel's book, "Animal Friends of Pica Pau." It was a fun challenge, and Mac seemed to enjoy his homemade stuffed toy :)

The trees they are cutting down in our 'back yard' are diseased trees. Unfortunately, not many trees remain and I hope they will plant new trees. Have a great Sunday.
We can in the house at 4 pm and normally it is a lost day. Then we are waiting somewhere and we are bored. That is why I rented a boat this year so that we can enjoy right away. It's great to be back. Coco always needs 2 days to acclimatize and feel comfortable. They recognized the house and garden immediately. A lot of questions where Mimi is. Mimi is home. There is someone in our house to take care of her and the other animals. We hesitated to take her, but I think it would cause her a lot of stress and no pets are allowed in this house. We have an exception for Loulou & Coco. Although I think she would have liked the river very much. xxx Eveline
Our miniature dachshund Mac's evening routine in the summertime includes long walks, rolling around in the grass and treats for dessert :)
Using a dog vision filter, we were able to replicate how our miniature dachshund Mac sees the world. Since dogs have dichromatic vision, they only see in shades of blue and yellow.
There is no sweeter dog than the Dachshund. It's what allows their owners to forgive all of their mischief.

The puppies are already 6 weeks old. They are very playful now and you can clearly see their different characters. I put them on colored cat collars so you can see who is who, but if they get stuck or something, I take them off. Loulou is doing very well, she is still wearing her shirt because the puppies jump to her nipples without a shirt. You sent me messages that our Twitter link is not working.
